This product has been electroplated with brass over iron which creates a top coat of lacquer. Due to the nature of the process, this piece cannot be restored to its original state and will develop a lovely antiqued patina. Please only clean with a soft dry cloth to remove dust. Due to the nature of brass, the colour may change when exposed to air and natural oils and develop a natural patina over time which will add to the unique charm. Please note, the shade of the velvet colour may vary slightly, dependent on lighting.
